Carleton University

Organization Type

Carleton University is a WIL partner for the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER).

Carleton University was founded in 1942 with the mission to provide opportunity to the young people of Ottawa and serve the broader region and its citizens. That mission remains true today, though now they serve a global community and believe that through higher education Carleton University contributes to the greater good of society.

This partnership between BHER and Carleton University will build on Carleton University’s Innovation Hub (CUIH) which provides work-integrated learning opportunities to university students. In particular they will conduct two campus-wide challenges and a bootcamp on issues related to COVID-19’s economic recovery.
