Red River College (RRC) Polytechnic is Manitoba’s largest institute of applied learning and research. Through hands-on and online learning opportunities, RRC Polytechnic prepares their students to become leaders in their fields — while also ensuring they can meet changing industry demands, and contribute to the province’s economic growth.
This renewed partnership between BHER and Red River College Polytechnic will expand and enhance RRC Polytechnic’s capacity to develop and deliver traditional and emerging forms of work-integrated learning (WIL) with a focus on opportunities for international and indigenous students.
This project will provide the support needed for the RRC WIL and Career Services Hub to embed WIL into the curriculum of all new programs at an institutional level, as well as coordinate a range of student supports, including advising services, employer workshops and events, and online resources. The project will better position resourcing to bridge and ensure consistency of employment services to Indigenous and International students.
