Preet joins BHER as a Senior R&D Associate. She previously held research positions with the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC, Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship, and Conference Board of Canada in which she gathered insights on labour market development, global innovation models, and recruitment and retention challenges across Canada. She also has a strong background in WIL through her work with the Merritt & District Chamber of Commerce, where she developed a strategy to promote WIL to local businesses, and through her work as an Advisor at UBC’s Arts Co-op Program, where she helped students prepare for the job market through one-on-one advising sessions.

Preet has a Master’s in Public Policy from Simon Fraser University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and History from the University of British Columbia.
