UNB students work as consultants with New Brunswick businesses to help with COVID-19 response and recovery.
Catalyst is a hub for talent and expertise to support New Brunswick businesses. Coordinated by the University of New Brunswick's Office of Experiential Education, the hub connects New Brunswick businesses with UNB talent and innovation to help with COVID-19 response and post-pandemic recovery. To alleviate strain on businesses, students are hired by UNB as consultants. Businesses engage directly with the university to facilitate smooth coordination and connection with UNB's students, researchers, and faculty. Through FutureReadyNB, UNB has already supported over 150 student placements. The program creates strong networks that help to retain students in the province after graduation, thus supporting the Province's growth strategy and building a stronger work force for the future.
